Sunblockthe enabler.

Sunscreen has a reputation as the sensible thing, the boring thing, the thing you put on because you should. It is the opposite. It is the reason you can stay when everyone else is heading for shade. SPF 15 is lighter everyday protection, SPF 35 is higher everyday protection, and SPF 50 at PA+++ is the most we make. Choose between them by UV level, how long you will be out, your skin, and what you are doing that day.

★ Which one?

Match the number to the day.

SPF 15Sunblock SPF 15The commute, lunch outside, an errand. Light enough to wear on an ordinary day without thinking about it — and the only bottle in the range carrying both Tinosorb filters, so the UVA cover is broader than the number suggests.
SPF 35Sunblock SPF 35A full day outside. The middle bottle, and for most people the right one — richer than the 15, and it holds up through an afternoon rather than an hour.
SPF 50Sunblock SPF 50The beach, the boat, the motorbike at midday, and any day the UV index is 8 or above. PA+++, the highest UVA rating we make.
